The brief

Our clients came to us with a stunning, traditional 19th century dwelling requesting a bright, airy open-plan sitting room at the rear of their property. They were looking for a space to spend their weekends, enjoy the sunshine and admire the incredible landscape.

The concept

We worked alongside an interior designer to capture the essence of our client’s home, creating a modern and contemporary everyday living space without compromising on the character of the original property. Our design was focused on bringing light into the space, with floor to ceiling glass windows, lanterns along the flat roof and open bay windows to match those on the second floor of the property.

The work

With hugely positive feedback throughout the planning phase and no local objections, we completed a smooth, three–month build to deliver our clients the room of their dreams, finishing our project with a surrounding patio to bring together the new living area, the beautiful new exterior and the gorgeous gardens.
